Shetland.

Top notch crime drama starring Dougie Henshall as Jimmy Perez. This is the latest series, or season as they call it abroad. I honestly was quite emotional watching this pan out, the final episode left you guessing right up until conclusion of the investigation. 

Perez and the team are forced to re-open a twenty-three year old cold case when convicted murder, Thomas Malone, is released from prison. The case concerns teenager Lizzie Kilmuir, who was found strangled to death on a kiln. Upon returning to Shetland, Thomas tries to make amends with Lizzie's elder sister, Kate. Meanwhile, local journalist Sally McColl attends the Shetland Folk Festival with a group of her friends, but doesn't return home later that evening. The next day, she is found strangled to death on a kiln, in what looks like a copycat of Lizzie's murder. Perez is forced to break the news to Drew, Sally's father and a former police officer who lead the investigation into Lizzie's murder.

Motherwell v Celtic

Celtic travel to Fir Park hoping to go 12 point clear at the top of the SPFL today. The match kicks off at 2.15 pm. I've been having trouble loading Cricfree lately so have two new sources for today's game which s live on Sky Sports Football, The first is here from sports4u there was one pop up to deal with so quite straight forward. The secdond link is from livetv.sc just close the "x" on the screen and it is quite a good stream.  There is a full schedule beforehand which includes EFL goals and Derby v Cardiff live from Pride Park at 11.30 pm.   As Usual I recommend HesGoal for those on mobile or Tablet devices.

Celtic v Rangers

Celtic are going for four wins on the bounce at Ibrox and setting another record. The match is on SkySportsFootball here and SkySportsMainEvent  here. Lady Bird

Another Oscar nominee, this is up for 5 awards, it is good film Saoirse Ronan gives a great performance and any other year might have won best actress but I think Frances McDormand will win for Three Billboards. I think Lady Bird is a wee bit overrated, it has it's moments and is enjoyable. Laurie Metcalf is in with a shout for best supporting actress for her portrayal of "Lady Bird's" mother.

The Shape of Water

I'm not normally one for fantasy type films but as this film did well at the Baftas I thought I would give it a go and I am so glad I did, what a great film, it has been nominated for 13 Oscars and I can see it winning Best picture, if it doesn't I will say Best original screenplay, it will also win a few of technical/editing Oscars. Darkest Hour

With the Oscars on tonight I managed to watch this a few nights ago, what a great film and Gary Oldman is outstanding as Churchill. The film is over two hours long but is over before you know it. I watched it on Terrarium TV through my Android box, if you have n't got one watch it here Darkest Hour on Openload, just close any pop ups that appear it will play and is DVD quality.

Rangers v Falkirk

Falkirk travel to Glasgow for their quarter final clash today as the only non SPFL team remaining in the competition. The match is a 4.15 kick off and is on SkySports Football, just click here. The match will also be on HesGoal for those watching on mobile devices this is the best site.

Celtic v Greenock Morton

Celtic welcome Morton today for their Scottish Cup quarter final tie. It's a 12.30 kick off and is on here  at SkySportsFootball Soccer AM is on just now it's 10.15, followed by Scottish Cup greatest games at 11.30 and the build up to the game at 12 noon.
